I realize that there'll be no text wrap option in the early EasyWeb versions-a difficult thing to work out and probably not of immediate concern. Still, would be interested if there's some place to find some step-by-step info on placing images in text boxes and outside text boxes-how that might work. For example, my web page might look like a fairly narrow wide, long text block-like to place images both inside and outside the block. (Though it's all pretty obvious-simple drag 'nm drop, I believe iWeb had some discussions of inline and floating text which were helpful.(I confess I haven't done a lot of searching for these things on this Forum-when I have searched for anything I've mostly gotten answers that tell me the words I'm using are too common.) Also,is there such a thing as a workaround for text wrap that doesn't involve coding? I'd find it useful-though not essential-at this stage of the game. Thanks! john |

Hi John, You can't place images within text boxes at this point but we are working on it. You'd have to split up your text boxes and just place your images in the spots you want them. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

Text wrap is a good introduction to using CSS and HTML as it is simple and easy to understand and implement. The images are floated left or right and given a suitable margin. The way in which the text flows around them is determined by their position in the HTML. You can insert then between or within paragraphs. Example of text wrap in EasyWeb... http://roddymckay.com/EasyWeb/test/text-wrap.html Once you have pasted the HTML into the Snippet you can see how the text flows by dragging the Snippet to increase/decrease its width. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb!
