Viewing Space below the footer

I would love to be able to see the space below the footer. Sometimes I happen to move something below the footer without being able to see that it happened. Then it shows up in the browser...Very awkward....

AND ACTUALLY THE VERY BOTTOM OF THE FOOTER...IT IS VERY HARD TO ADJIST THE TEXT THAT IS THERE.
