Viewing grouping assets

grouping assets

User: Guest 12 years ago
Okay, I am new, and only opened it for the first time just now, but it seems to me it is going to have the same problem for me as adobe muse does.
I am making comics. each comic episode might have images called page1.jpg, page2.jpg etc but if I put them into easy web then add a second and third comic to easyweb site, won't all the assets end up mixing together so that it will be hard to find page 2 of a particular comic? couldn't the assets be able to be tidied into folders? Once I have hundreds of them I can see I won't ever be able to find anything anymore.

This has been brought up a few times. Here's one topic...

You can re-arrange the assets using drag and drop for now. We do plan on adding grouping though.

When you add an asset it sits at the bottom of the list and you can drag it to another position. You only seem to get one shot at this.
It doesn't seem to be possible to rearrange them.

would be good to have a list of assets for each page but these would need to be virtual folders as many pages share assets.

This is a good idea and something we'd like to add.
