Line Height

This seems to be a fairly common problem. Users claiming that EasyWeb is messing up the layout of their published site when in fact it's caused by their line height settings. One example I have just looked at has the font size set at 13px while the line height is 0.16px. I guess it must look OK in EW but obviously not in the published version. I can't think of too many occasions when I even use line height in CSS never mind a value of less than 1. I suppose the answer is for users to learn what line height is and the effect of increasing/decreasing it. Given that a lot of users obviously don't, is there a way to prevent this seemingly fairly common mistake? ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! It's really our fault for not making the EasyWeb preview looks like the published version when you change line-height. We need to improve this. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
