Has anyone recently tried the web hosting from Everweb?. Is it reliable? I know you have to use the app to access your space can you FTP in separately? If i move from the stand alone to a hosting account and decide at a later date to co back will i lose the current version of everweb i subscribed to and would i be forced to upgrade my stand alone package to allow me to continue with the current features i have used? Finally, does the email work on all my apple devices in mail? and how big are the mailboxes? Sorry a lot of questions i know. |

While the EverWeb application has a built-in, one-click publishing feature that handles everything for you seamlessly, **yes, you can absolutely FTP into your space separately** if you request access to a FTP server. ### 2. Moving to Hosting and Going Back (Software Versions & Backups) If you decide to switch from your standalone license to an EverWeb Hosting plan, and then later choose to go back to the standalone license, here is how the software versioning works: * **Your Standalone License:** You will not lose your original standalone package. However, when you stop a subscription or move plans, your standalone license remains "locked" or stuck at the highest software version that was available right before that specific standalone maintenance period expired. * **Project File Compatibility & Backups (Crucial):** When you use newer versions of EverWeb on a hosting plan, your website project files are automatically upgraded to work with that newer software. If you later downgrade to an older standalone version of the software, **older versions of EverWeb cannot open newer project files.** * **Our Recommendation:** Because of this, it is highly recommended that you keep a secure backup of your original project file before upgrading. If you ever choose to go back to an older standalone version, you would need to use that original backup, as the newly modified project file won't open in the older software. ### 3. | Thank you for the information, I meant to ask am I limited to bandwidth? How much traffic or visitors I can have? I feel the 2gb may be too small but 10 is over kill do you have 5 or 4 options? | |
