Deleting some 20 images from the Assets. Deleted one too much and selected Undo from Edit-menu. Then Crash Report came. FYI: The Crash Report is not possible to send from time to time. After hitting Dismiss in the Crash Report and then selecting my Main page on my site in EW, this dialog shows up: "An exception of class NilObjectException was not handled. The application must shut down." I have the image on my mac, so thats no problem. Just reporting a bug :) ------------------------------- .frode http://dusano.no |

Crash reports can be found in the User library in the Home folder. If you are running OS X 10.7/10.8, open the Finder Go drop down menu and hold down the Option key then click "Library". The crash reports are in Logs/DiagnosticReports so the full path is ... ~Library/Logs/CrashReports A crash report will look like this... ![]() Double click it to open and check the time and date to select the latest one. You can zip it by selecting it and then selecting Compress in the Finder File menu so that you can attach it to an email. ------------------------------- Roddy Website: http://everwebwidgets.com Contact: http://everwebwidgets.com/ewWidgets-home/contact.html NOTE: I am an EverWeb user and NOT affiliated with EverWeb! You can upload an image to a server or Dropbox or somewhere and paste it's URL in an image tag -

Quote: Roddy: Its empty and I always look there for it but its not there. There are two types of crashes. One where the program will quit right away and show a crash report and one where the program won't quit but instead will show a crash report and then afterwards show an option to Force quite the application or continue using it. If the application quits before the crash report, Roddy's method to find the crash will work (This is an actual crash and the OS will generate a crash report.). If the application shows an error first and then provides the option to send a report, you won't find the crash report using Roddy's method (this is just an error in the program and EasyWeb is showing the error message rather than the OS). ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
