I've Inserted the standard EW image placeholder from the pulldown menu in a responsive page. How do I add a caption that will be tied to the image? Last edit 4 months ago |

Hi Les, Thank you for contacting us. You can use a container column and add the image with a separate TextBox underneath it for the caption. This keeps them tied together. Alternatively, you can use the FlexBox widget to achieve the same result. If you'd like us to take a closer look at your project and provide more detailed guidance, feel free to open a ticket and send us the project file for review. ------------------------------- EverWeb Customer Support Submit Tickets or Learn More |

Thank you for your response. When I add the text box, the responsive row only allows me to place it to the left or right of the image—not underneath. Can you provide some basic instructions? Thanks. |

Hi Les, Thanks for the follow-up. In your specific case, the easiest way to keep the caption directly under the image is to place both items inside a Container Column, rather than using a Responsive Row. In EverWeb 4.4.3 and newer: 1. Go to your page in EverWeb. 2. In the top toolbar, click Containers. 3. Select Container Column. 4. Add the image inside the Container Column. You can either drag the image into the column or use the plus button to add it. 5. Add a TextBox underneath the image, inside the same Container Column, and enter your caption. Because both elements are inside a Container Column, they stack vertically and stay aligned correctly at all responsive breakpoints.
