How do I show the 'page name' when placing the 'heading tags widget' in master page? Every time I try I just get whatever text I entered. Last edit 9 months ago |

Hello Jason, Just so I understand your request, are you trying to have the 'heading tags widget' adapt dynamically based on the page that you are currently viewing? As in, if you have a master page in 7 pages, the heading will always be different? I am not quite sure I'm following your problem here, my apologies. Thank you for your cooperation. ------------------------------- EverWeb Customer Support Submit Tickets or Learn More |

Yes, exactly that. I would like the header to change dynamically to the page name of whatever page is being viewed. Thanks

Hi Jason, Thanks for clarifying. The **Heading Tag** widget only displays the text you type into its “Heading Text” field. It doesn’t have a way to automatically pull in the current page name. When placed on a Master Page, the same heading will appear on all pages that use that master. If you want each page to show its own title as a heading, you’ll need to add the heading directly on each page instead of through the Master Page. You can find more details about how this widget works in this tutorial: https://www.ragesw.com/blog/2016/07/17/everwebs-heading-tags-widget I’ll also pass along your suggestion as a feature request for the development team. Best regards, R.E. ------------------------------- EverWeb Customer Support Submit Tickets or Learn More |

Hi Jason, If you like, we could possibly create a custom widget that shows the title of the page for example. If you are interested, please contact support and we can discuss further. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
