I would like to put course videos online, and I noticed that your videos in the "features" section are quite small, and while having an acceptable quality, in what format are they encoded? My source files are Keynote. Thank you in advance Your advice is welcome |

Hi Richard, Thank you for your post! We recommend using MP4 format with H.264 encoding, as it’s widely supported and keeps file sizes small while maintaining good quality. You can use online free video compression tools to optimize and convert the video files. For larger video files or many videos, hosting on YouTube or Vimeo and embedding them into your website is also a great option. Please let us know if you have any questions. ------------------------------- EverWeb Customer Support Submit Tickets or Learn More |

Hi Richard, Thank you for your reply. Keynote files can’t be used directly with most online video compression tools. To proceed, follow these steps: 1. Open your Keynote presentation 2. Go to File > Export To > Movie… 3. In the export window, choose your settings and click Next 4. Keynote will export your presentation as a .mov video file (not .mp4) 5. After exporting, use a free online tool to convert the .mov file to .mp4 (H.264), such as: - https://clideo.com/compress-video - https://www.veed.io/tools/video-compressor You can also search for more free tools on Google. Save the final file as an MP4 (H.264) for best compatibility with websites. Best regards, R.E. ------------------------------- EverWeb Customer Support Submit Tickets or Learn More |
