I now have a MacBook and would like to update my website using it from time to time, although I want to continue to use my iMac most of the time. I've set up optimisation so all my Macs share the documents folder, and I assume this should facilitate my working on the same files from any of my Macs. Unfortunately, I migrated everything to my MacBook from an older iMac (still in use), so when I open the Everweb app on it, it opens an older version of my website. How can I point all instances of Everweb on all computers to use the same file in my documents folder? Last edit 11 months ago |

| Ok. I've realised the file isn't in the documents folder (that's the backup). So, I have a different question: Is there a way to work on a common file on different Macs without having to post an up-to-date version to a shared location first? | |

Hi Steve, Thank you for posting! To work on your project file across multiple computers, please refer to the following video tutorial: Backing Up or Sharing an EverWeb Site Please ensure that: - Only one computer accesses the project file at a time, and - Your cloud storage service is fully synced with all devices before opening or closing the file, to avoid any risk of file corruption.
