We are pleased to announce the public beta of EverWeb 4.3. This new version is still in testing but is available not to try. You can download it for Mac & Windows. EverWeb 4.3 for Mac Public Beta EverWeb 4.3 for Windows Public Beta New Features New PayPal Modern Widget: Supports the new PayPal button API, enabling additional payment options. Justified Text in Textboxes: Textbox elements now support justified text alignment. Scrollable Text in Textboxes: Textbox elements now support scrollable text. If the text exceeds the height of the textbox, users can scroll through the content. robots.txt & .htaccess Editing: You can now edit robots.txt and .htaccess files directly from the Site Settings screen. Mini Icons for Layout & Settings: A new mini icon option is available for layout and settings buttons within elements on the design canvas. QR Code for Mobile Preview: Easily preview your website on a mobile device by scanning a QR code. AI Bot Control: Option to prevent AI bots from scanning and indexing your website content. Drag & Drop Stock Photos: You can now drag and drop stock photos into the Inspector under Shape Options for Slide Shows. Font Preview in Dropdown: Fonts in the font dropdown list in the Inspector are displayed using their corresponding font style on macOS. Fixes & Improvements Windows Object Movement: Fixed the issue with moving all objects below the selected object by holding the Control and Shift keys on Windows while dragging an object Animated GIFs: Animated GIFs now function correctly when publishing. Image Gallery Icons: Fixed the issue with icons not appearing correctly when clicking an image in image galleries. Blog Backslashes Issue: Fixed the issue with backslashes being removed from blogs. Image File Name Compatibility: Incompatible characters are now properly stripped from image file names to prevent loading issues during publishing. Image Galleries Clickability: Fixed an issue where image galleries were not clickable during preview, and resolved pagination issues when pagination was left aligned. Text Box Export: Fixed layout issues when exporting text boxes that contain line breaks. Spell Checker: Fixed issues with the spell checker on Windows. Widget Localization: Improved localization across most widgets. Image Distortion: Fixed the issue where images became distorted in some widgets.
