Viewing EW is really WYSIWYG ?

EW is really WYSIWYG ?

User: Richard M. one month ago
Hi all,

I have been asking myself this question for more than 4 years and I think that EW is not WYSIWYG, I spent more than 48 hours trying to solve a layout problem that I do not understand and that I would never understand.

Does anyone have an opinion or experience on this?

Thank you in advance

Hi,

Thanks to you for your prompt reply but I'm completely demoralized! 😩 I just lost 48 hours, I thought EW was intended for non-technicins! And that's my case...and yet I don't always understand how EW works, which is sometimes very esoteric.

Hi all,

JI wanted here to share my personal experience regarding the supposed non-WYSIWYG side, I have had this problem for several months, and after more than 72 hours of research I found the problem!! this is a problem of incompatibility of Widget and more particularly "Fake Loader" from EverWebPowerUp.

Probably before version 4.2 of EW this Widget was no problem, but when I updated almost all my pages had a downshift!!!!

What I don't understand is that before version 4.2 of EW you could put this Widget anywhere or in a page without it posing a layout problem, while now it behaves like a Responsible Row" and therefore contributes to the layout.

Third-party Widgets are fabulous but are the cause of many problems and stress, I know something about it, wouldn't it be wiser and more prudent to validate Third-Party Widgets before allowing them? It would avoid many problems and migraines as far as I am concerned.

A big thank you to Facundo, Paul and Julie for their precious help but above all patience.

Thanks to the team and sorry but...
