Can we hyperlink to a new HTML Snippet?

User: Christopher 10 years ago
Is this possible? I'm wasting a lot of time trying to make a video playlist on one page. If I can link to an HTMl snippet with text or a thumbnail, I can just change the video element and then offer movie clips that way.

I think there's a way to use anchors via html (Roddy sure knows that) on pages, not sure if that's the solution you're after though.

When I gave you some suggestions for this in your other topic I forgot to mention opening the movies in a new window from a hyperlink. I actually used this recently on a page for demoing different styles of audio player and was obviously keeping it to myself!

Here's a demo done in EasyWeb...

I might use this for something else. But what I was asking is whether I can link to a new HTML widget, thereby allowing me to change the video content on the same page.

You mean you want one snippet to disappear and another to appear when a link is clicked?

Yes. Either that, or the active snippet to overlap the others. That way I could position a number of movie clips with the same coordinates and just link to them with a text hyperlink. No? Of course, if I can get Sublime's playlist to work, I won't need this option! (I just posted below)
