jQuery is way too old Version 1.9.1 from 2013 is still used!! It's 2024. When will the current jQuery 3.7.1 be installed? So I won't want to buy EverWeb. |

jQuery 1.9.1 is not being used. EverWeb is using jquery 2.x depending on your version. We will be upgrading for the next release though.

On Windows, jQuery 1.9.1 is used! AppData Roaming EverWeb scripts 1.9.1 is also used under macOS!! EverWeb.app Contents Resources scripts Date of versions on Windows and Mac: September 14, 2015 The versions of EverWeb are current ## This is too old and unsafe Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Cross-site Scripting (XSS). Passing HTML from untrusted sources - even after sanitizing it - to one of jQuery's DOM manipulation methods (i.e. .html(), .append(), and others) may execute untrusted code. How to fix Cross-site Scripting (XSS)? Upgrade jquery to version 3.5.0 or higher. ## Last edit 11 months ago |

Hi Andreas, That version is not used. It was used to provide support for IE 9 but that was a long time ago in EverWeb. That is only in the application support folder but it is not published. As mentioned, we will be providing a mechanism to update jQuery in the next version of EverWeb. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
