Viewing Blog post text editor

Blog post text editor

Pretty sure I and others have raised this before in various forms. It would be really good if the text editor in the blog post widget could be a bit more full featured. e.g something approaching Apple Pages' word processing feature set. I know and appreciate that there have been improvements in the time I've been using EW. But it is frankly still a bit limiting.
I could list many examples, but can't think of a load of them right now. (Might add later?) But a couple that do come to mind ...
• margining and tabbing. e.g. a couple of recent posts could have done with the ability to indent an addendum at the end of the article. If there is a way to do that without code (I'm not a geek), I sure can't find it.
• tooltip hyperlinks (or whatever the geek lingo might be?). An alternative might be footnoting? i.e. some way of incorporating additional info or side comments outside the flow of the sentence. (Lots of brackets mid-sentence or mid-paragraph gets sloppy)

Hello Lance,

Thank you for your feedback! It is quite valuable for the development of EverWeb.

As for your points:

1. I'm not quite sure what you mean with an addendum at the end of the article, could you please elaborate further?

2. Regarding tooltip hyperlinks, tooltips are generally little text boxes that appear when you hover over a particular piece of text. Is this what you are referring to?

If you could perhaps provide us with some screenshots of what you would like to do with the EverWeb blog, that would be really appreciated.

That being said, in order to submit images, please create a support ticket so we can communicate through it here: https://billing.ragesw.com/clientarea.php

Then, go to "Open Ticket" and on the next window select "Support". In here you should be able to upload attachments such as images for us to review, and pass to the developers so they can include this in future builds of EverWeb.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi - Thanks for that response. I'm happy to open a ticket as suggested. For the record here - what you called a tooltip is exactly what I had in mind. (I can at least speak some geek).
