I've checked out the Direct Mail video, the contact form advanced widget info, and the RSS widget and subscribe button. But I'm not sure how it all joins up. What I'm hoping to be able to do is provide feeds for my blog and audio podcast (separate blog pages) that could be automated or at least semi-automated. So people could subscribe to either or both feeds and either read / listen in an RSS reader or receive an email with link. The RSS reader method is clear enough. But I'm not clear on the email method. I want the email option because some of my likely subscribers are older folk, who are techno enough to manage email, but probably not techno enough to set up and use a feed reader. My dream would be user-action subscriptions and automated updates so I don't need to post updates manually. But I could live with the latter, probably, if not too many button-clicks or typing involved. Would existing EW add-ons facilitate this? |

Also regarding the automatic updates you mentioned, do you want this feature to be present in the email method?
