I'd love to see an improvement to the Widget Library. It's not easy finding a widget, especially when there are now so many. I've got hundreds in my library, and it can take quite a long time to find the one I need. I noticed that in version 4.0 Beta it has a smoother scroll, although very slow/delayed (hopefully will be improved with final release). I also noticed that the widgets now display the full name instead of being cut off at the bottom. Happy to see these improvements. Folders to organize are great, but perhaps there is another way? Custom tab bar? A larger window that opens independently, or that "pushes or slides" everything over to the left to make room while searching for a widget? Also wondering if there is a way to add a preview to each widget. For example, selecting a widget opens a preview window that has a simple animation (or even a video example of the widget on a web page) that portrays the function of the widget. It may not work for all, but it certainly would be helpful when trying to find one that requires a specific function. If anyone here has used Apple Motion or Final Cut X, they have a similar function in their library. I enjoy that layout and it makes it easier to find what you need. I'd love to hear others opinions on how it might be improved. |
