Can I do this sort of scroll with Everweb

This website has a scroll that a photographer friend likes. Can I do this with Everweb?

Where the thumbnails are verticle and only show a few at a time, so you don't see all of them except 3 or 4 at once?
And when you click on them, it shows you the larger image?

Or is there an outside app for something like this?

Hi Susan,

Yes, it is possible but it would be a complicated because they are using a highly customized slider script. They are using this older carousel script here that is customized to look the way they want.

https://sorgalla.com/jcarousel/

It would be bit complicated and technical to get the exact look though from that site, but it is doable in EverWeb.

This is a really old design and it is not responsive. A slider like this would need to be made responsive, have three image files for each item, thumbnail position switch on mobile devices and lazy loading.
Tabs for navigating the thumbnails are not user friendly and it’s much better to allow the visitor to use mouse wheel, trackpad scroll and swipe which also makes it more efficient.
If you search for jQuery thumbnail sliders you will find quite a few but most of them are outdated.

I’m working on a responsive ThemeKit theme for eCommerce. I needed a product images stage with thumbs in the sidebar and at the bottom on mobile devices.
Most of the free sliders available are not suitable for responsive pages unless they are modified. I ended up having to design and make it myself.

Ok I think I may have asked this before, but it was a while back, and I've not kept up as well with all the new "stuff" in Everweb.

I need a gallery to display art, which we are using one of Everweb's gallery on her current but old website and she wants to update the entire site.

However I need, when you are scrolling through the gallery, the name of the piece, some info about it (size, material), and a link to purchase the piece (she uses Paypal).

Can I do that (the purchase link) with Everwebs galleries? Can I do it with Roddy's galleries?

She said she'd be happy with one like this:

Thank you both so much for your help. I'm not sure if I should post this as a new question, if no one answers in a couple of days I will!

It is much better to let the visitor use their mouse wheel, trackpad scroll, or swipe, which also makes it more efficient, rather than using tabs to navigate the thumbnails. https://billing.ragesw.com/forum.php?act=thread&tid=7142retro bowl

Maybe it is - but I give my advice, and some people insist that I do it their way. They want it how they want it.
