| Hi all – I am creating a website and wanted to know whether I should be using the Responsive Row widget for tablets/laptops/smartphones or should I be creating 2 or 3 different versions of my site for the main breakpoints? Any help appreciated, thanks. | |

Hi Dale, From my experience, I would advise you to go for the Responsive Layout since you will have only one version of your site for all devices. There're, however, certain limitations to how the elements can be arranged on your page. If you need a more complex layout of elements, you might consider the use of Breakpoints and consequently have 2-3 versions of the same site. | Hi, I have another query. I think I know how to create both desktop and mobile/smartphone versions of my site. How do I create a version in between – as you said 2 or 3 versions above. Is the 3rd version for tablets and if so how do I create one anyhow do i set this up in Everweb as I can only see "This page is for mobile devices" under Mobile Settings. Is there a way to tell Everweb I've created a tablet version for a certain breakpoint? Many thanks. | |

| Dale, I'd like to know that too, did you get an answer? if not you're better off posting that as a separate question. For me I've only created "computer" sized sites and mobile. So far, my sites have looked fine on an iPad but I'm not sure about other tablets. | |

You don't have to create separate pages for each device. If you want to create a page just for mobile you can do that. You can't assign one just for a tablet though. Hi Dale, Susan, "This page is for mobile devices" means that the page is not intended for the desktop screen. And for which screen - you decide. You just need to set the page width to be approximately comparable to the average screen size on tablets and so on. But I would prefer to make 1 site in responsive layout and not spend efforts on developing 2-3 sites, as Paul mentioned above.
