I am very sorry but EW have a erratic problem

I am very sorry but EW has a problem or bugs, I past 4 hours to understand why I can't center a object, may be I do wrong ? may be I don't know how EW works ? no see the video enclosed.

When I try to center 2 objects nothing appends, just one object ? no same problem.

I can understand I am not the better EW user but please, if there is a menu for center a object this is for use it, no ?

Thanks to tell me what I do wrong

PS: Sorry if the video doesn't appear but I attached it but it never works

Hi and thanks but each time I open a ticket for a problem you never meet the problem I have.

If you watch the video you can see the problem, do you can see the video enclosed ? because each time I attach a video or other documents you never see it.

Hallo Richard,

I'll guess it's not a bug but that your 'Page Layout' is on 'Responsive'. If that is the case then objects don't align traditionally.

Set you Page Layout to 'Left Aligned Layout' or 'Centered Layout' option. Only then the traditional alignment of objects will work as you expect it to be.

Hopefully this helps...

Hi Cornelis,

Thanks for your reply, Yes I know but I have responsive Widget I have to use, with the responsive page I see that it's not really soft, and more rigid for layout configurations, but that' life...it's not very easy to do what I want with a responsible page.

A simple example, a simple circle with a centered animated logo inside is not possible in a responsive page 😫 why there isn't a layer system like Illustrator so that I can overlay more responsible Row ? but I think I'm too demanding.

Best and thanks my friend and have a good holidays

There is a workaround:
Add a new normal 'Blank' page (not a 'Blank Responsive') to your website. It does't matter of it is on 'Left Aligned or Centered Layout'.
Create the objects that you want and align them on this new normal page. When you're finished go to the menu 'Arrange' > 'Group' and 'Copy' the group.
Now go to the Responsive page and do 'Past at Mouse Location'.

Hi Cornelis,

Thanks for the TIP but not working ! because when I past the GROUP with the animated object in the centre of my circle in a responsive Row the objects are dislocated And no longer centered !!! when I tell you that the RESPONSIVE is VERY HARD, not intuitive and complicated !

Thanks my friend.

The workaround above will work on a Response page though. But indeed not inside a Responsive Row.

There is a lesser workaround:
Prepare the objects in the Keynote.app as you do in EverWeb. Keynote has many of the some shapes and options as EverWeb. Copy them out of Keynote and paste them into Everweb.
Regretfully they will lose their individual 'smart' shape status and becomes one 'stupid' graphic object. But this will work in a Responsive Row. It won't work for animated objects though. BUT maybe you can prepare everything, including the animation, in Keynote and export it as HTML from Keynote. I never tested this export option. So hopefully you can get lucky with this?

No more tricknology left from my side.....

Hi Cornelis and sorry for my late reply,

Ok I see it's very restrictive !! I think I will change my page layout because to complex to do.

Many thanks for your help.
