Get my current site into the "Projects Window"

User: Allan H. one year ago
Hi, I've got a large, complex site that I've built entirely in EverWeb but the only way I can open it is to go to File>Open Recent this version of the site has never appeared in the "Projects Window".

We had a sort of meltdown a year or two ago and an EverWeb Tech helped us resurrect the site as WEBSITE copy — but we still have access to the file via the File menu as stated above.

One of the reasons that I'd REALLY like to get this dealt with and the site in the Project window would be to be able to force a backup in order to send it to tech support (which is something that I'm dealing with at the moment).

I'm attaching a screen grab of my pristine Projects window with my several hundred page site not in it.

Hi Allan,

Thank you for your message. Please try using Spotlight search and search for .everweb. After finding the project file, drag and drop it inside the Projects Window.

If you are still experiencing issues, please open a ticket, and we will help you resolve the problem.

Hi, there is a current ticket and we're going back and forth there. I mostly posted here to see if any other EverWeb users had come across the same issue and had figured out a solution...

As for the Spotlight search, ".everweb" did not come up but I was able to find the backup files.

Hi Allan,

If the project appeared in the Recent menu then it would have been available somewhere on your computer. You should not have had to use a backup...
