How to copy text into Everweb and 'cloak' that text to the newly designed lay-out?

As a Mac user, I'm used to either using Command - v for copying a text and maintaining the original layout (font, size, and color), or using Shift Option Command V if I want the text to take on the formatting of the document or line I'm working in. I've created a page layout that I duplicate, and I have a style for the text; color, font and size. Now, since I'm basically revamping an old site, I copy and paste a lot. However, If I want that text to 'cloak' the new look and feel I can't use Shift Option Command V. Is there another way to do this fast? |

Hi Paul, Such a feature is under Edit -> Past and Match Style. But it may differ depending on where you paste the text. Let us know if any questions arise. ------------------------------- EverWeb Customer Support Submit Tickets or Learn More |

No, I'm not able to do that since that option is greyed out. I would like to paste the text in a text widget, and the option is greyed-out. No clue why; I can use it in tens of other apps.
Sorry for the Dutch, but 'plak en pas stijl aan' is 'paste and match style'.png proof that paste and match style is greyed out |

A simpler question: why is Paste and Match Style greyed out on my version of Everweb? (It really makes copy and paste actions a pain, since I'll have to redo the layout every time again.
