Everweb 3.7.0 Text Section Widgets resize (shrink) when adding text

I downloaded and installed the latest version as the release notes stated that the bug with text boxes resizing had been fixed.

Unfortunately not for text section widgets. When you add text (and you've set the width in the metrics and a maximum size in the widget) the text area shrinks.

I am not sure if I follow exactly what you are referring to here.

Are you a on a responsive page or a fixed width path?

What exactly do you mean by the text shrinks?

This fix in the release notes refers to the text box not adjusting it's height properly when set to full width and the length of the text changes.

I have more than one text section widget embedded in a responsive row.
The text section widget is set to a maximum of 240 and the text section width is set to 240 in the metrics inspector.
When I add text to the widget (in edit mode) the width of the text section widget decreases in width and cuts off the right hand side of text.

I've posted about this before in Bug Reports: "Text Section Widget Narrows when adding text" and the workaround (of setting metrics inspector > max content width >= image width) does not work.

Hi Liane,

I see we worked with you at this time and asked if we could do a screenshare because we couldn't reproduce this issue on our end but we didn't get a response to that request.

Happy to screenshare.

Although it really is just a responsive row with a text section widget (set with max content width of 240 and a width of 240 in metrics).

The more lines of text I add in edit mode, the narrower the box gets.

In fact, I've just tried again and the max content width doesn't even need to be set to reproduce it: just having a width set in metrics reproduces the effect.

For example, this image started off with a width of 485. By adding text, it narrowed to 385.
