Confused about mobile pages

User: Lance L. 2 years ago
Hi,

Here to pester you again. (Sorry!)

So I've just published my site to a subdomain as a test. It's going pretty well in desktop browsers. But the mobile thing is a flop. I go to the address on my phone browser, and I get a blank screen.

So I've pondered and reread the manual and some stuff in the knowledgebase and the video tutorial too. I can't see what I've done wrong.

Except maybe ... Could I have misunderstood the instructions? What I've understood is that I add a single mobile page, set it as "for mobile devices, and then set the mobile settings for each of my regular pages to point to that one page. Is that correct? Or does it actually mean I need a separate mobile page for each of the regular pages?

At any rate I've tried reconfiguring the settings so only the home page points to the mobile page (and then published). But I still get the same blank page on my phone.

Hi Lance,

To set up a mobile page, you need to make sure to do 2 things.
1) You create a mobile page. At the Mobile Settings, you set "None" and tick the box next to "This page is for mobile devices."
2) You go to the desktop page => Mobile Settings. Make sure that you have "One of my pages" and "mobile page" selected there.

This way should work. If you still encounter difficulties, please consider opening a support ticket with us if you haven't already.

Thanks. Any comment on my second-last paragraph?
