I believe that when I have a regular website and a separate mobile site I don't have to fill out the SEO section on the mobile site because the regular site directs to the various pages in the mobile site. Is that correct? I also would like to know... when I have a directory that redirects to the first child page of that directory do I have to fill out SEO for that (on the directory page)? And on that directory page of the regular website, do I need to have it redirect to the same directory on the mobile page? Or since the directory redirects to the first child page should I just leave that first child page on the regular website redirecting to the same page on the mobile site and skip the directory altogether (since they redirect to the child page)? I hope I'm making sense, I feel confused now! ;) Susan |

Hi Susan, Quote: I believe that when I have a regular website and a separate mobile site I don't have to fill out the SEO section on the mobile site because the regular site directs to the various pages in the mobile site. Is that correct? I recommend that you do, but it is not 100% necessary. This is because Google may find the mobile page first. Quote: I also would like to know... when I have a directory that redirects to the first child page of that directory do I have to fill out SEO for that (on the directory page)? In this case, you don't have to fill out the SEO section. Quote: And on that directory page of the regular website, do I need to have it redirect to the same directory on the mobile page? Or since the directory redirects to the first child page should I just leave that first child page on the regular website redirecting to the same page on the mobile site and skip the directory altogether (since they redirect to the child page)? If you have set the option to redirect to the first child page, you should assume that directory page is not an actual page and don't adjust any settings there in the Inspector. Hope this helps! ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
