Viewing Navigation on a sidebar

Navigation on a sidebar

User: Harding B. 2 years ago
I'm trying to create a website to replace a similar to one I have published using Sandvox. It has its navigation list on a sidebar section. Is this possible with Everweb? For what I'm trying to do, take a look at nwcares.or or the attached screenshot. The navigation is basically an alphabetized list of pages. I'm not an expert, but have searched the manual with no success, and hope someone can help. The website is for older folks and the navigation has worked well. Thanks.

HI Harding,

I recommend you make a master page and then add all of the links in a regular Text Box. To add a Text Box click the TextBox button in the toolbar. Then type whatever text you want in there and use the Inspector->Hyperlink tab to make the text a link to each page.

Additionally, this widget which is specifically used to create lists, might be useful to you as well;

Are there any responsive templates (or plans about any) with sidebars like that?

If the page is responsive you probably need a slide out sidebar nav that will scroll the content when there are a large number of links.

The sidebar version has image links and text description for navigating website sections etc.
