Viewing Publishing to Non-EverWeb server

Hi, I would like to know is there a way to publish through EverWeb to a non-EverWeb server? I figured out how to publish to a folder on my desktop but would much prefer to be able to upload to my own server that I have been using for quite some time. Is this possible or will I have to publish to my desktop and then ftp my site to my server?
