Viewing Install widgets?

| I have downloaded the EverWebGarden widgets. I have unpacked the .zip files and try to install them by dragging and dropping them to the widgets screen as well as the application icon itself. I close then reopen the app, but they don't appear anywhere. | |

Hi Graham, Thank you for posting. Please double-click on the unzipped widget to install it. After that you will be prompted with a pop-up telling you the widget is installed and will be able to download it. | I have seen the popup saying it is installed. Silly question, I know, but I've already downloaded it, haven't I, In order to unzip it? If not, how do I download it? | |

Hi Graham, You don't need to download it again since you have it. Once you double click it, it will be installed in EverWeb. Click the Widgets tab in the top right of the EverWeb window. You can select 'All' from the drop down menu and use the search field to find the widget. You can also organize the EverWeb Garden widgets into their own categories if you want using the + button next to the search field. | Thanks, Paul, but I have tried with three different EverWebGarden widgets. When I look for them by name, I don't find them. Nor does the number of installed widgets change. Where does the code put these widgets? Is there a special folder somewhere? Or does it change the code of EW itself? I'm just not finding them. | |

Hi Graham, Are you looking in the menu bar or in the Widget section in the main window? If you are looking at the Widgets list, did you select 'All' from the drop down menu above the Widget section? If the dropdown menu says 'Default' you will only see the pre-installed Widgets. You must select All from that dropdown menu. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |

| All is now well, for some unknown reason. I don't know what has changed, but dragging and dropping them into the Widget box now works. Thanks for your previous help. | |
