Viewing Keynote like opening page

Keynote like opening page

User: Frank M. 3 years ago
I have built some fairly complex actions in Keynote. I have seen there is a way to link to some keynote in iCloud which seems dumb. So...

Can I make a Homepage that tells a story with timed elements that appear and disappear in Everweb itself?

As one of the original Mac users, it seems to me that making a keynote and then making it play on a variety of systems and phones will be more likely to break than if I do this in a program MADE to work on the internet with a variety of browsers and systems.

Is there a tutorial about this very idea?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Frank,

Thanks for reaching out. While there's no default option to create timed elements in EverWeb, there are some workarounds depending on what exactly would you like to achieve. For example, you can place an element on the page and then place a shape on top of it with the Fade animation (which you can set in Shape Options settings). In this case, this shape will eventually overlay the original element and create a timed effect.

Hope this helps.

Best Regards,
Alex

OK I am now trying this in real life in a mobile version of my site.
Duration = how long the actual animation runs? Y/N
Delay = from the previous animation? or from the Page load?

Example: if I am loading five things I need to calculate from page load with delay plus animation length, then that total of that 1st animation/delay plus next animation and that delay and so forth with each delay being progressively longer?

There is no function like in Keynote "after transition" or "with build 2" or "after Build 5" etc?
