Sometimes responsive rows cannot be resized. Why?

Sometime I cannot resize responsive rows. It seems to be related to having an object in them that is full width. Is that correct? Is there a work-around for that? Am I missing something?

Hi Tegan,

Thank you for posting!

All the objects placed inside the Responsive Row widget are full width. Actually, You can add non full-width objects into the Responsive Row widget so that they can work properly on any device they are viewed on.

Can you help us with more details on how you want to resize the elements/objects? We may help achieve the desired results.

Thank you.

Is that to say that if my row widget is configured as full width, then any object within it will also me full width, like a text box?

If I have a text box that is not in a row widget, but check full width, will it become responsive?

The thing I was referring to in my original post was that if I put a text box in a responsive row, and configure it as full width, I can no longer resize the row. I can add more text to the text box, which would make the row bigger, but I can no longer drag the handles on the row to resize it.

Hi Tegan,

Textboxes should be added to the page directly, there's no need to add them inside Responsive Row. You can set them to Full Width, and they will become responsive.

You can also add Textbox in the Responsive Row, set it to full width and then set Maximum width to any number. This way you will be able to place objects next to the textbox in Responsive Row.

Let me know if any questions arise.
