Hi Richard, Thank you for reaching us! It is not possible to move objects leaving an empty space between them in Responsive layout. This is designed to be so. Each object should be placed below or above each other. However, if you want to create an extra space between them, you can add an empty textbox as a workaround. Make sure to set it to full width, to make it work properly. Let me know if any questions arise. ------------------------------- EverWeb Customer Support Submit Tickets or Learn More |

Hi Richard, The concept of Responsive Websites in EverWeb is a bit different than creating normal, fixed width pages. Each object you add to your site is stacked underneath each other. As you add shapes, texts or widgets they get added underneath each object you have added to your page. To make adjustments to each objects, click them and adjust their settings in the Inspector->Widget Settings You can also use the Responsive Row widget which allows you to add shapes, widgets or text inside it. Then, EverWeb will automatically adjust the contents inside the Responsive Row depending on the size of the web browser. We have a 6 part series (also available in French) that explains how to build the responsive pages. The first 3 will be relevant to you; https://www.allaboutiweb.com/2018/11/your-first-everweb-responsive-website-1-getting-started/ https://www.allaboutiweb.com/2018/12/your-first-everweb-responsive-website-2-page-design/ https://www.allaboutiweb.com/2019/01/your-first-everweb-responsive-website-3-working-with-responsive-pages/ This video tutorial also explains responsive pages step by step; Responsive Pages in EverWeb Last edit 3 years ago ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
