You can copy and paste elements from illustrator to EasyWeb.

When I do this the copied element appears with a jagered edge/outline in Everweb. Am I doing something incorrectly?

Simon, what is the format you are using when copy? If you can, try to use svg format and see how it goes. SVG is scalable vector graphic and tends to eliminate jagged edges

Thanks Jim, Im coping "Control C" directly from illustrator CS5, and pasting "Control V" directly into Everweb, so no format would apply. The element copied is namely text thats been outlined (In this case a logo) that id like to place without a background. I have over 100 logos that I will need to bring into Everweb and having to reserve all these eps/ai files as png, sag or other format will add hours of time.

My concern is that this was possible in iWeb and as id like to switch to everweb it is something id need to consider as the work load would be insane and id may as well recreate them in any other web application.

Lastly, i did try as a last resort to save the artwork as a svg but had difficulty importing it into ever web, any advice please? thanks

Simon, there are two ways you can insert an SVG into an EverWeb website:

(1) You can open the SVG file(s) in TextEdit and copy/paste the code into an HTML Snippet in EverWeb.
(2) Or, drag the SVG to the EverWeb assets sidebar and control (right) click it and select Copy Relative File Path and, in an HTML snippet, insert:
<img src="Paste Relative File Path" style="width:100%" alt="Alt Text" />
