Viewing Image Compare Mk2

Image Compare Mk2

User: Roddy 3 years ago
I was asked about an image compare widget and was going to direct the EverWeb user to the one listed in the EverWeb Addons section - on the EW Powerup Themes site - only to find that it doesn't exist anymore!

I created a widget using the same scripts but made a few improvements to the code and the functions. It can be seen HERE.

I wasn't too happy with this script so I made a cleaner, simpler one which still loads two different images sizes for computer and mobile and has better styling options.

The EverWeb user's client wanted to use it in place of hero images so it had to have the option of an animated text overlay! See it in action HERE.

Both of these widgets have been added to the PhotoKit pack which makes it really good value and pretty much essential for anybody inserting images in responsive pages..

Hi Roddy,

The site and the widget still exists. What happened when you visited the site?

Hi Roddy,

I have not updated my site for a while due to illness but would like to update it now. I think I had purchased all of your widgets before, do they need newer versions of them now Roddy? If yes, can you point me in the direction to get them, please?

This is my website. www.hotphotography.co.uk

I need this widget for my home page, I think it was called: Full width scroller.

Portfolio page: Full width T slider

Retouching page: Full width slider

Thanks
Hope

It sounds like you are using widget from the old EverWeb Codebox site. These widgets are not available anymore but should still work.

If you are going to update your website this is a good opportunity to make it fully responsive.

You can find responsive widgets in THIS section of the EverWeb Widgets site and more up to date ones that use the CSS Grid Layout Module HERE.

Thanks Roddy! Yes, I had left it for a while as I didn't really need to update it but now after COVID-19 it makes sense to update it with fresh pics and bring it up to date. I would like to have the layout the same though if possible.

So I got quite the fright when Everweb codebox site was gone, I was like 'noooooooo' and freaked out a bit. Glad to know that you are still around!
