I tried to use a custom color in the flexbox widget - but everytime I trie to change the colour, the text becomes black. The color only turns blue for a second and then back to black....after trying a few times the system crashes. I would love to use the same color in my text that I use for the page. Hi Andrea! Where in the FlexBox are you trying to do this? Are you trying to change text color in the styled text editor? Or are you trying to change the color on a hyperlinked piece of text? If you can say step by step what you are doing that would help. I have not been able to reproduce this problem so far. I assume you are on the latest version of EverWeb too? Thanks Simon |

Hi Simon, I use either the Flexboxwidget or the textwidget - I select the font - write my text and than I highlight the heading to change it into another color. I click on the A to change the color. Next I can choose between the color retancles or go to custom. I need custom, because I have a special blue I want to use for the heading. Now I see the colorbox. I have to highlight the heading again and click on the little square with my selected color (Hex #053E8B). For less than a second the right color appears - but then it turns black. Highlighting/Colorchange - trying that a few times causes the system to collapse. Hope you can reproduce the problem - if not I could send you a short video. Hi Andrea! Thanks for the detailed reply! I tried to reproduce this with the steps that you outlined and using your custom color. It seems to work fine for me. You could try creating a new blank page with a text FlexBox to see if the problem happens all the time or with just a specific FlexBox. I suspect that you have problems when using other widgets too though... if this is the case you may be best to log a support ticket. You may also want to send support your project file so they can investigate specifically what's going on. Sorry not to be too much help on this for you! Stay safe and well too! I have exactly the same thing happening as Andrea but, in my case, with the Text Section Widget (full width on a Responsive page). I tried it just now with a FlexBox and, not only the word I had selected but the remainder of the text all turned into the required colour for a second before reverting to black. At least this time the system didn't crash. I am very new to Everweb having decided to go with it after checking out some alternatives and I have to say I am somewhat disappointed with stuff like this happening - especially the crashing. :-( Everweb 3.2.3 Build: 2326 macOS Catalina 10.15.5 MacBook Pro (16" 2019) 64 GB RAM Wayne |
