Viewing Shopping widget without Paypal.

Shopping widget without Paypal.

User: Dan N. 4 years ago
Hi,
The Paypal widget is great for those entrepreneurs whos got an account. I would like a simple widget that works just like the Paypal widget but without the payment option. It could work as follows:

- Products would be listed with pictures as usually with the buy - button.
Pressing one product's buy-button would gather all the
chosen products to the cart - as usually, right.
- Next, there would be a shopping cart view with prices and amounts and the next stage would be the payment, but here's what I'd like to have changed. I'd like the widget to generate a simple page ( with prices and total sum ) that could be sent to the shop keeper by email. This could be handy if the customer picks up the products from the shop and pays in the shop. Is there any widget in your program that would match my criteria?

Hi Dan!

Thank you for the feature suggestion!
Unfortunately, the PayPal widget is limited by what PayPal originally allows.

You may try the original PayPal embedded widget: https://www.paypal.com/dm/webapps/mpp/buttons
Build the button and embed the resulting code via HTML snippet widget in EverWeb.

I would suggest trying different eCommerce solutions. Most of the embedded options are compatible with EverWeb.
Just a few examples:

https://www.everwebapp.com/support/video-tutorials/ecommerce-sell-online-with-e-junkie-and-everweb.html

You may find other options as well. If so, let us know and we'll check if they are compatible with EverWeb.
Let us know via ticket: https://billing.ragesw.com/submitticket.php
I'll take it from there and will do my best to help you!

i too would like to know if this can be changed, i would like a form thet works the same as the pay pal cart function
exept insted of people buying the products, just submitting a list to my email so i can offer a custom quote

Hi Alex,
thank you for your reply. The widget I was referring to doesn't need to be connected to any company or payment widget - I just mentioned Paypal as an example. The desired widget would follow the same design as your Contact form widget with an addition of a mathematical function that would sum or list the purchased products which would then be sent to the shop keeper by email.
In other words, the "Product form" widget could be edited with single or multiple products, price, qty - the form would then generate a total sum with a list of products that are sent as a pick-up list with sender contact information. This would be very handy for those customers that don't want to pay online.

Stay safe
