Hi, I am considering to transform/reset my web site to use responsive capabilities of Everweb. What is the best practice to do that? Create new responsive pages in the actual project and switch links in menu progressively or restart from scratch? Another point is that my blog is full of threads I would like to keep… Is there a way to transfert them from old to new Everweb site? Advices would be welcome. Thanks. |

Hi Jean-Luc, Converting your website to a responsive layout should be done from scratch as if you just change the page layout to responsive, it will show up incorrectly. You can rebuild your website from scratch and then paste the content from your existing website to a new one. To do so, please select an object that you would like to paste, click Command+C to copy it and then Command+V to paste it to the new page. Let me know how it goes. Hi Saleh, if I understand pretty well the maneuver for "basic" web pages, it's really unclear for the blog… Does that mean I will have to copy each blog entry ? This is just… …impossible! (too time consuming) |
