Viewing Adobe Lightroom Web Photo Gallery

Adobe Lightroom Web Photo Gallery

User: Tim S. 4 years ago
Sorry if this is a dumb question.
Anyone out there use Adobe Lightroom? I use it and it's web photo gallery all the time. I'm new to EverWeb. Was wondering if any has found a way to connect a Lightroom Web Photo Gallery to their existing EverWeb site. Maybe through a page, directory or button to link. If so, I'd be very interested in knowing how you did it.
Thank you,
Tim

Hi Tim,

You could easily link to any external page and bring people to your Lightroom gallery.

Does Adobe Lightroom have a embed feature? If so you could embed the code snippets in an HTML Snippet under the Widgets tab in EverWeb.

I'm happy to provide more advice if you share your URL. Or feel free to contact Customer Support if you need some more in depth help with this.

Hi Paul,
Thank you for getting back to me. I have to stress I'm not that techie. My Lightroom gallery in not live on internet. Lightroom builds a, I guess you'd call it a HTML? With a "index.html, index_2html and so on, to a folder to my desktop. I'm attaching a screen shot of what if looks like on my desktop.

I don't think Lightroom has a "embed" option. It seems to only have an FTP route. You mentioned this HTML snippet in Widgets, and I found it, is there a way to learn more about this? Tutorial? For that matter how would I learn more about Widgets??
Thank you,,

Hi Tim,

The screenshots you posted here are actually local references to the files on your computer that I won't be able to see. To attach screenshots on the forum click the 'Advanced' tab next to 'Post Reply' to get an option to upload photos.

This means the easiest way is to publish to FTP from Lightroom. Then when you visit the page in your browser you will can copy the URL from the very top and then in EverWeb you can link to that page using the Hyperlink tab in the Inspector-> Link to External Page.

Yes, but this will be a bit difficult because you can't just embed the HTML in the index page. It would be best to follow the instructions the above and link to the Adobe Lightroom Galleries. If you have trouble with that, or it doesn't work the way you want, please let me know and we can go from there.

When you publish from Lightroom you should get a folder with an index.html file and two folders - "content" and " resources".

If you contact me I can help you find a way to insert the gallery in EverWeb.
