Does the email for one of my domains on Rage have a way to catch misaddressed incoming email? In other words, some system will get an email address to charley@12345.com. If it is misspelled: cahrly@12345.com it was still accept it. Alternatively I can receive email for different uses (help, sales, info) etc without having to define each of them.

Hi Courtney! I apologize for the delayed reply! Unfortunately, there is no way to catch such misaddressed emails without some sort of complex programming. Instead, you may make sure that your email is never misspelled. For instance, if people can click on the address link on your website and be brought to their email clients, it's impossible to misspell. This is hyperlinking to email feature, you can find it in Inspector > Hyperlinks of EverWeb. Any hyperlink may be configured to lead to creating a draft for an email message. If you have further questions, could you please submit a support ticket? Direct link: https://billing.ragesw.com/submitticket.php I'll take it from there and will do my best to help you! Hi, this feature was present in my precedent registrar and it was very very useful… It was quite simple to program: forward "*@mydomain.com" to "john.doe@myotherdomain.com" and that's all. Behind, probably a postfix or equivalent option to setup. It would be super to have this in Everweb hosting options :-) |
