Viewing Google Fonts

Google Fonts

User: Courtney H. 4 years ago
Please ignore. I found the video tutorial and it answered everything.
Tech support - please clarify Google Fonts. EW does automatically provide the link, but on a practical level, do I need to include anything besides just select the font? Please walk me through the process once I see a Google Font I might want to use and getting it into where I need it to use it.

Thanks.

If you are using any of the widgets from the EverWeb Widgets website you don't need to install the Google font on your computer.

A Google hosted font is inserted by entering its name into the widget settings and checking a box. The widgets also provides for a web safe fallback font in case the remote hosted one isn't available or doesn't download for any reason.

For all built in EverWeb features and Widgets, Google Fonts are recognized and properly implemented with out you doing anything.

You can download your Google Font to your computer and use it as a normal font. EverWeb will recognize it as a Google Font and add all the appropriate code for you (optimized properly as well for the fastest loading websites).
