Navigation problem

I'm using the navigation widget and I know I add a page and it goes on the nav. menu. I have a client that does not want a page but wants an item on the nav. menu to go a link. He does foreign auto repair and has an Everweb website for it however he also sells a few cars too. And they are all listed on some off-site webpage for car sales. Can I put a link in the nav menu without having a page on the website? Susan |

Hi Susan! Unfortunately, no. However, you can place a text box next to the navigation menu, with an external link. Style this link in the same manner as the menu, and they'll be indistinguishable. If you have further questions, could you please submit a support ticket? Direct link: https://billing.ragesw.com/submitticket.php I'll take it from there and will do my best to help you! Hi Susan, You can do this with a slight workaround 1. Add a new blank page to your website and include it in the navigation bar. 2. Go to the new page and select the First tab in the Inspector (Page settings). Scroll down to the bottom of the inspector where it says 'Header Code' and enter this in there; <meta http–equiv="refresh" content="0; url=http://www.example.com/"> Change http://www.example.com to the external website you want to link to. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
