Viewing Header/footer code in Master page
Header/footer code in Master page

Hi, just started in EverWeb after several years with Sandvox. I had inserted code at both site and page level and was hoping to do the same with the Master page so I wouldn't have to do it on every page individually. I noticed that the relevant part of the Inspector in the Master page (blank, responsive) is inactive. Couldn't find anything in the manual, the tutorials or knowledge base. Have I missed something? Is this possible - how? Do I need a widget (or make my own)? Thanks Paul |

Hi Paul, Thank you for posting to EverWeb Forum. Yes, some options like Header/Footer code are not available for master pages. However, could you please confirm that I understood you correctly. You would like to apply certain code only to the pages that are associated with a certain master page, right? Thanks in advance. Hi Ted, thanks for response. I was thinking of global (all pages) and maybe some just specific to certain pages. If I get that far - struggling to get anything resembling current site - but early days. The current site is info heavy/graphics light (for a local target audience) so trying to match its basic appearance then enhancing it within EW looks like it's going to be a steep learning curve.
