This is nuts. I finally upgraded to Catalina today and my iMac is running like a pig. Looking at the HD, which is now in two volumes, the data volume has <5% free. That explains that. A couple of my programs says EW306 is 26GB in size. Huh? "Get Info" shows it to be 302 mb. Anyone want to guess why this discrepancy? It's got me baffled. ------------------------------- MrCourtney - Honolulu, HI -------------------------------------- Mac Studio - dial monitors; iMac 27 5K - Dual Monitors - 10 TB hub Alienware: Area 51 - 24 gb - Dual Monitors - All SSD 25 TB network storage |

Hi Courtney! May i ask you to restart the Mac, take screenshots of those system reports, and send these back to me? Direct link for ticket submission: https://billing.ragesw.com/submitticket.php I'll take it from there and will do my best to help you! If EverWeb uses more system resources than it should, we'll see what we can do to fix it. Alex ------------------------------- EverWeb Customer Support Submit Tickets or Learn More |

Alex- Not an EW problem. I'm working with Apple on this and it has them stumped too. After upgrading to Catalina there are 5 volumes on the HD. The HD-Data volume has an 800 GB sub-volume for "Misc Files" that is jamming everything up. We're trying to identify what's in it but it appears to be junk from past deleted programs. ------------------------------- MrCourtney - Honolulu, HI -------------------------------------- Mac Studio - dial monitors; iMac 27 5K - Dual Monitors - 10 TB hub Alienware: Area 51 - 24 gb - Dual Monitors - All SSD 25 TB network storage |
