Anchor widget questions

Roddy -

I purchased Anchor Chevron Scroll Top and I could use some guidance.
1) I want to have a full screen graphic (splash page) and then scroll to the now home (index) page. How do I call that graphic page first when the home page is set as home or index?

2) Once I get past that - I assume I drop the anchor widget on the splash, set it as ID 1 and then drop another anchor at the top of the main (formally index) page and also call that ID 1? I tried that as a test but nothing happened.

Sorry, the docs don't cover this.

I'm sure what you are trying to achieve but wouldn't it be simpler to use the splash overlay?

The overlay animation fades in and scales up from the center of the browser or device window and the animation time is set in milliseconds.
There is an option - which can be turned on by checking a box - to add an additional animation which also rotates the image through 360° if a more attention grabbing feature is required!

I want to open the website with a full screen photo of something. People then can scroll down (using the anchor) to the normal home page. I would rather not set a time for the photo to be displayed so they can look at it for as long as they want before moving on.

The VPH Widget pack widgets do that and have a built in scroll down.

Use the Image without the optional link and leave the text fields emapty if you dont want the overlay text.

Purchased.
How to I go to that image page before the home page or is that now considered part of the home page?

It just sites at the top of the home page and - becuase its height is 100 viewport units - it fills the height of the browser or device screen no matter what size it is.

Note that the image will not appear full height when viewed on the EverWeb design canvas but will on the published page. EverWeb doesn't handle vh and vw - probably because nobody but me uses them.
