I would be great to have a WhatsApp button tot directly WA contact to mobile phone or set in your phonebook (mobile use) or open WA desktop etc. Also share website with WA. Good luck. |

A Whatsapp button seems to be just an image link to their with the phone number you registered with Whatsapp. All you really need is an image created as an external link. Here's a demo of a simple widget that will create a round or square icon of any size with fields for the phone number and a checkbox for the new window option.
