How to highlight portion of long long page?

User: Ben L. 5 years ago
I have some long pages. I want to insert something near the top, say. When I try to lasso the lower 3/4's of the page ... the scroll down doesn't work when I'm trying to lasso highlight ... and I'm stuck having to click every item, not missing one, all the way to the bottom, and THEN dragging down that lower portion of the page to be able to insert a new item.

Or I can Command A everything, and then singly unclick the top items before dragging the lower 3/4's down.

Does anyone have any suggestions about a better way to do this?

You can see how the pages are designed (cinematically) with a lot of floating items extending down to form a LONG page.

Hi Ben!

I am sorry for the delayed reply.

We would appreciate a screen recording of the highlighting issue, if possible. I seem to be able to reproduce this, but the information of how it looks on your side would be valuable to testers.

Here's how:
1. Open QuickTime Player, which is in your Applications folder.
2. Select "New Screen Recording" from the File menu.
3. Select the area which you would like to record, or just click to record the whole screen.
4. QuickTime Player will now start recording your screen. Try to reproduce the issue you've been experiencing.
5. Once you finish, right-click (Ctrl+click) the QuickTime Player icon in the Dock and select "Stop Screen Recording".
6. Save the recording, it will then appear on your desktop.

Upload the resulting .mov file to wetransfer.com, iCloud, Dropbox or any similar service.
Next, please submit a support ticket with the link. Log in to the Client area and click the blue button "Open New Ticket" on the Welcome page. Direct link: https://billing.ragesw.com/submitticket.php
I'll take it from there and will do my best to help you!

Alex
