Convert my website to responsive?

User: Kathy J. 5 years ago
Is there an easy way to do this or do I need to rebuild the whole thing?
Thanks.

Hi Kathy!

Here is what I suggest:
1. Watch the new tutorials, including those in "Building a responsive website" section: https://www.everwebapp.com/support/video-tutorials/index.html
2. Read the section of the user manual on responsive web design. It can be found in EverWeb application - top menu bar > Help > EverWeb Manual, page 160. I could take some time, but it covers all the features.
3. To keep things simple, Responsive web-design uses rows and full-width objects.
3.1. A page should have the Responsive layout, set in Inspector > Page settings > Page Layout > Responsive. If your page uses Master page, the layout should be changed for that master page. It will then automatically change the layout for all pages using that master page.
3.2. Any object you place on such page becomes full-width and adapts to the size of the screen. To make an object full-width, select it and go to Inspector > Metrics > Full-width.
3.3. If you wish to have several objects in one row, you should use a Responsive row widget. Here are the details: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQHcDEbX5-s

If you have questions, could you please submit a support ticket? To do so, log in to the Client area and click the blue button "Open New Ticket" on the Welcome page. I'll take it from there and will do my best to help you!
