The new responsive design feature is great, allowing me to make my website suit all devices. There are three things that would bring my new site up to publication quality. The first two issues have existed since blogging was first introduced to EverWeb but still remain. 1. The Text Inspector functions cannot be applied to the body text on a blog main page. 2. The title tag cannot be customized for individual blog pages (I can use SEIntelligence but that seems to defeat the point of EverWeb being an all-in-one). The final request relating to responsive pages you have already heard. 3. The ability to set a maximum width for text boxes (or indeed entire pages) could be used to prevent text from stringing out too far across wide displays. I appreciate everything you have done and look forward to having these issues sorted out. Christopher Hoile ------------------------------- Chris H stage-door.com |

Hi Chris. Thank you for the suggestions! Quote: 1. The Text Inspector functions cannot be applied to the body text on a blog main page. We can see what we can do here for a future version of EverWeb. Or provide more control over text for the blog field. Quote: 2. The title tag cannot be customized for individual blog pages (I can use SEIntelligence but that seems to defeat the point of EverWeb being an all-in-one). The title for the blog page is taken from the blog title. You can't customize it at the moment. I am not sure if or when we will provide the ability to customize the browser title apart from the blog title. Quote: 3. The ability to set a maximum width for text boxes (or indeed entire pages) could be used to prevent text from stringing out too far across wide displays. This is very high on our to do list. We hope to have it in the next. big update of EverWeb. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
