I feel my website needs a big touch up.
Can anybody recommend any themes, plug ins or anything to help boos it?

I know this is vague but any help will be brilliant.

I have new photo's to add but want to give it a week of improvement.

Thanks a lot.

You should check out EverWeb V2.8 and take the opportunity to make your website responsive so that it gives a good visitor experience on all devices.

There are over 200 new Responsive Widgets and you can see some of them in action in this DEMO.

Thanks Roddy. I have dowloaded 2.8 after your recommendation. I have watched the demo and i'm struggling to get my head around it a little. It seems I can't put existing content in the responsive sections of individual pages. Will I have to rebuild my website from fresh?

Thanks a lot.

You would create a new project and select the Responsive template and then the Responsive layout in the Page inspector. You can use all your existing images, videos etc and copy the text over.

Using a fixed with makes you site look very dated. Responsive items create a better user experience. Images can be Text Wrapped and videos inserted with text for both the visitors and the search engines.

A media header is very eye catching on a home page or you can use a scroll over hero image.

This widget will give you an idea of how two items are placed side by side when viewed on wider screens and then one item slides below the other in narrower browser/device width.

Tabs are a good way to show different items in a small space and you can use a timeline to list events in an interesting way. And so on ...
