Viewing MailChimp form doesn't display properly in Firefox

MailChimp form doesn't display properly in Firefox

User: J. Christopher D. 5 years ago
Hi EverWebers,

I got an issue I can't seem to shake. I have a MailChimp form on one page on my website and I can't get it to display correctly in Firefox.

Quote and Audition Requests

I've cleared the cash and still, it doesn't display the way I expect. Here's an image of what I see.

I've checked the same page in Firefox, Chrome, and Opera and the form that's driving me bonkers displays correctly.

Your advice will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Chris

The form appears for me when viewing with Firefox V59.0.2.

You would need to explain what is wrong with the way it appears since your screenshot didn't upload.

Yeah, I see that. Drat. Anyway... the text and the input field are missing formatting. It's still functional, just doesn't look pretty.

About images in posts, what's the best way to host them so they display with my posts?

HI,

Everything looks ok for me on Firefox. The image doesn't work as you have noticed so I can't see what. you see. I don't see any errors on the page either.

If you click the Advanced button next to Post Reply here you can attach images. That would be the best way.

It looks like your CSS code from the Mailchimp servers aren't loading for some reason. It does work fine for me as well.

You can check the console for any errors by following these steps;

1. Open the Preferences in Safari and go to the Advanced tab
2. Sselect the 'Show Develop menu in menu bar'.
3. From the Develop menu select 'Show Web Inspector'
4. Navigate to the page with the issue in Safari (or reload it if it is already opened)
5. In the Web Inspector click the Console tab

You should see an error message in there if I am right.

Thanks, Paul. In Firefox, I'm using a Tracking Protection plugin and it was preventing the MailChimp images from loading. As soon as I turned off protection for my site, the form displayed correctly. Problem solved!

Glad to hear you got it solved. Yes, that could cause issues since the Mailchimp code must connect back to their servers.
