Have a button which should be fixed on each page of my website to link to my contact page. Shows on my Mac computer in Safari, Firefox and Chrome. Doesn't show on iPads and had visitors saying it doesn't show on a MacBook Air or Windows laptop. A fix would be much appreciated. Website derek.co.nz. Blue button should be beside the Facebook icon. |

You have fixed the position of the button at 836px from the top so it is off the screen when viewed on an iPad in landscape mode. Unfix it.

| Appears to have fixed that. Thanks for the quick reply. What had me puzzled was the Facebook icon showed on an iPad but not my contact button. Now they both do. | |

Hi Derek, Sounds like it was just a caching issue. The cache for a site uploaded to EverWeb should expire in 10 minutes after the last visit but you can always reset the cache manually. The best way is to open the Preferences in Safari and go to the Advanced tab and select the 'Show Develop menu in menu bar'. From the Develop menu in the menu bar there is a quick option to remove the cache for a specific page. ------------------------------- Paul EverWeb Developer |
